[SunRescue] bad blocks test from prom?

I have a couple of 1GB disks that I just snagged, and one of them is giving
me some nasty errors, which look a lot like bad blocks errors.  I'm running
linux on there now, but e2fsck run on that drive doesn't appear to have
"fixed" the errors.  On my 3940UW I have something in the disk utilities
where I can check the disks for errors, unfortunately I don't have a wide
cable to hook the external chassis up.  Any way to do this from the prom on
a SPARCstation 20?  Thanks,
