Years ago I ran a 4/470 with 5 of the 128MB boards, 640MB total. That was
an _amazing_ database server before the 4/600 came along. A friend of
mine has it now and it runs 2.4. It never feels lightning fast (compared
to the newer systems) but absolutely nothing can slow it down. The VME
boxes just seem to handle serious load more gracefully for some reason, my
4/330's were the same way.
