[SunRescue] Solaris 2.5.1/PPC

I know CHRP was "Common Hardware Reference Platform" , but I forget what
PReP stands for. 

It was a set of standards for hardware that would allow OS makers to develop
OS's that would run across hardware from many manufacturers. 

Another attempt at standards that died the death of everybody wanting to
differentiate themselves from the competition.

I understand this- it makes it much harder to sell hardware if it is
"generic". It erodes whatever is your real or perceived advantage in the
marketplace. Would make it nice for us admin/user folks, however <grin>.
