[SunRescue] Monitor troubleshooting?

Hey folks!

I have a GDM-1662B (16" monitor) hanging off of my Ultra1/170E. It works
pretty well, except after a few minutes the red gun goues out. I give the
monitor a decent whack and it pops back in for a few moments, and the
process repeats.

I assume this is a loose connection somewhere, but where should I start
looking? I don't want to zap myself.

I have an identical GDM-1662B which works but is quite dim. Is there some
kind of internal brightness gain that can be futzed with?
