This is a SPARCbook 3XP... not the 3GX... the 3XP is an 85MHz machine with
a 9.4" display at 640x480 ... the 3GX is 110MHz and 10.4" display at
800x600.
Aside from those minor issues, it is a good deal, except for the fact that
there is no hard drive or sled... the sleds are exceptionally hard to come
by... unless you can get one from Tadpole... there has been some
discussion on this on the sparcbook list.
If you wanted to hook a 411 case up to it with a hard drive in it, then
you could functionally use the machine, just not as a notebook very well
:) I've seen many of these auctions (the guy seems to have bought an
entire palette(sp?)) and they end in the range of $200-$400... which when
you add in any cost for the hard drive/sled and any other goodies, would
probably end up around $600+...
