Al,
man ifconfig should tell you- but here's a quick (from memory) summary.
Double-check the syntax against the man page.
plumb the interface (if not already)
ifconfig hme1 plumb
Then
ifconfig hme1 dhcp start
you can also do
ifconfig hme1 dhcp status
to see what's going on.

OK, I'm probably being particularly schtupid, but.....
I cannot figure out how to set up hme1 on my ultra 5 as a dhcp client, and
more frustratingly, can't find an applicable man page.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
