So is this dangerous? If the sparc is signalling with +-12V will this harm
the serial HW in my powerbook? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thanks for the tips, John, I'll try getting it hooked to a pc. I'm bummed
about not having a nice portable terminal though. (-:
