.bash_login does. This is from my system:

bash$ more .bash_login
alias ls='ls -F'

PATH=$PATH/usr/dt/bin:/usr/openwin/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin
MANPATH=$MANPATH/usr/man:/usr/local/man

export PATH
export MANPATH
bash$ echo $PATH
/usr/bin:/usr/dt/bin:/usr/openwin/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin
bash$ echo $MANPATH
/usr/man:/usr/local/man
bash$
