All,

I've recently picked up an IBM RS/6000 42T with a GXT500D 24bit framebuffer.
I installed AIX 4.3 through the serial console and am now trying to output to
the monitor. Console has been switched to /dev/lft0, diag has been run on all
devices and everything appears to be functioning correctly except for nothing
comes up on the monitor. I've tried setting the jumpers on the GXT500 to
different resolutions and sync rates, but to no avail. Are there differences
between IBM's 13W3 connector on the framebuffer and Sun's monitor? Is it
possible to drive a 20E20 from the GXT500 ? I'm at a loss here and really
don't want to have to buy an IBM 20" monitor.

Thanks for any help,
