Whats the one from SunOS actually called and where might I find it.

You need a second-stage bootloader. This is what should be loaded by
tftp, and it in turn does the bootparam stuff and loads the kernel
via NFS. You should be able to use the one from SunOS or {Open,Net}BSD.
