The UltraSparc CPU is soldered to a small "module board", much as the
SuperSparc CPU's were to MBus modules.  This module board (collectively
known as an Ultra IIi module) attaches to the motherboard with two long
sockets.

There is nothing to stop you exchanging CPU modules, except that some
older Ultra 5/10's may require firmware updates.  Fortunately since the
boot PROM on these is flashable this isn't too hard.

The Ultra IIi module is also used by the SparcEngine AXi.

There are no actual screws that hold the module in place, rather they hold
retainer bars against the module to prevent it from shifting.  Seat the
module well and you will have no problems.
