nope... both internal and external scsi ports run at 5 mbits.

sure, as long as there's a drive in it ;)

check out the openboot faq for info on changing the default boot device.

not sure about these drive specs... i'm too lazy to go look 'em up on quantum's
web site. i'm fairly certain you'll find a datasheet if you look around on
quantum.com. if you're running solaris, the system will automaticallt probe
the drive for its gemoetry and configure it accordingly.

quantum drives run notoriously hot (can we say "fireball?") and tend to have
problems with tagged command queueing, though i can't imagine you'll see
enough disk activity on an ss2 to warrant disabling tagged queueing... if you
care, check out http://false.net/iaq/solaris/quantum.html. i haven't updated
the iaq stuff in quite some time. the html is ugly and the information is
sparse. if anybody wants to contribute, please do so.
