[SunRescue] everyone still there?

I'm here. BTW, an IBM DDAS-34560N (7200RPM, SCSI-2) drive works just fine
in a SPARCstation 2 (internal to the machine). I removed both Seagates
(1.05GB and 424MB) and installed the IBM in the rightmost spot (nearest to
the floppy drive and fan). The IBM drive is 1/2 the height of the
Seagates that I had in there and the drive is a lower power than the
Seagates. The air coming out of the machine is ambient temperature and
with the lower profile, I believe the airflow is improved inside the
machine. I'm not the only person who's tried this...I know a guy who's
been using this same drive in his SPARC 2 for a while now and says he's
had no problems. The IBM drive produces about 1/2 -> 3/4 the heat that
the Seagate's do combined...I don't know how they do it, but I can
certainly say that it's a sweet drive. I just thought I'd let you know.
