[SunRescue] Sparc 10 cover plates

Both are right - 1MByte/sec V 10Mbits/sec.  On my P133 and 3com905
which can send back-to-back packets I can just get over 1MByte/sec
to a similar setup on the same LAN.  That's damm good considering 
the wastage in TCP/IP/ethernet headers.

I've got a 486 DX100, 32MB RAM running linux at home - but with no 2nd 
level cache - it runs slower than my 8MB 386 laptop! If the cache has died
then so does performance.

A second hand Pentium MB should be very cheap - and you could put 
your old CPU / memory / cards into it - unless it's a weird case 
that needs a special MB.

But - if you're got the other hardware lying about then use it - 
Sun's always give the feeling or more stability anyway - might not
always to true - but it's a feel thing
