ROI is what I call it.  You get what you pay for.  A previous employer is still
using HP 720 and 715 systems for CAM/PDM work.  They've outlived even the Xterms
and other junk in their usefullness.

The Mac has a VERY strong rescue force.  I know a number of Mac folks who still
use their old '030 based systems for email, etc.  Many never hit the dumpster.
Many older macs are upgradeable to a 60x PPC, if not a G3.
