Whenever I'm looking for "fair market prices" for stuff I generally
search for those items in the recently closed Ebay auctions.  While some
stuff on Ebay obviously sells for below or above market price (otherwise
what would be the big attraction!), it's usually not too hard to spot
the appropriate values (no matter what your purpose, i.e. buying or
selling).  Indeed I think there were a number of SS4s on Ebay within the
time period covered by their closed auction search (though I may be
about a month out on that! ;-).
