I did see a couple of DIY-type repair pages for this model, one in
particular in Japan somewhere looked promising. Warning of extreme high
voltages and such, right up my alley. Try
searching on the model number. <don't-try-this-at-home>Make sure
to use the metal-handled conductive screwdrivers and be sure to hold a
good ground with the hand that's not holding the screwdriver, that way you
can de-fib yourself almost as soon as you get the initial shock ;)
Shorting large caps with a sweat- or saliva-moistened body part is also
recommended for maximum burn enjoyment. </don't-try-this-at-home>
