That looks like a quick way to julienne signal lines.  Every nick in a UTP
signal line is integrity lost.

Get a good sharp cable-skinning or cable-splicing knife, and waste a few
feet of cable to get a feel for it.  If you go too far, you'll be able to
feel the signal cables grating against the blade.  Once you have the
muscle memory of how hard to press, you'll be as fast as any handheld
cable-stripper.  It's seriously just slit, twist, and pull, if you treat
your knife well.

Klein and Greenlee both make reasonable sub-$20 (on Amazon) knives.

A small side-cutter/dike will make quick work of the center spline, just
before you connectorize or punch-down the cable.
