[geeks] Sun SSP monkeying - any SSP 'experts' about?

Five Nines is a very, very expensive target. Anyone concerned with providing
five noes level service wouldn't rely on a single instance server to meet that
need.

Five nines is what, less than an hour of downtime a year?

I once had a director tell me she 'NEEDED' 15 minute cutover time in our
disaster recovery plan - I pointed at the datacenter and said that means we
have to duplicate the hardware there, and the operations staff, since our hot
site was 90 minutes away.

She didn't understand why it was so expensive.
