Thanks to both of you.  I've sent a nicely worded response back to the
nice SE asking her to explain to me.  I omitted ps -ef dumps, and
output of cat, as this - in the past - caused her to reset and send
directions for their windows product.

Tomorrow .. I'll plug in jconsole.

Tonight I need to put my feet up and watch the rest of Arrested Development.
