A bit more info on the server:
Processor(s):Two Quad-Core Intel Xeon L5420 2.5GHz 12MB L2 Cache 1333Mhz FSB
LGA775
Motherboard:Dell Model S45 based on Intel 5100/ICH9R chipset with ASPEED
AST2000 on-board graphics
Memory: 8GB PC2-5300P Registered
Hard Drive(s): One 250GB SATA Drive
CD/DVD:NoFloppy: No
NIC(s):Two Gigabit Ethernet Ports, one (third) dedicated Gigabit port for
baseboard management controller
Operating System:None
Power Supply: Single 400W
Form Factor:1U Rackmount
To answer my earlier unanswered questions:
It has Intel ICH9R RAID,
the expansion port is PCIe 8x,
and it has no DRAC-like remote management function.
Rails may be simply unavailable, and this was a custom build for a major
customer back in 2008... But for $150, seems a good deal.

8 left when I looked earlier - Note: the 30% discount code works on any item

without rails, and, like some rackable brand systems it MAY ship without a
top.

for $150 w/8 Gigs RAM in a 1U chassis w/ four hot-swap bays could make a nice

controller, memory used, expansion slot technology, does it have a DRAC,
