To my utter and immense confusion things are "working". I tried the
original .50 rev card on -two- U5s, both of which errored out. I tried the
older .01 rev card (from an E450) on both, with the -same- error.

I plopped the newer .50 rev card in one machine (I kind of combined the
two to one with the most memory and best processor)... and the bugger
started normally without the "Data Access Error". I did 'boot -r' for the
hell of it, and it came up to OS fine.

I am /highly/ dubious. Even if 'boot -r' had fixed the OS portion, I was
getting an error on POST, even if I am no longer. I do not like it when
problems go away on their own!

I guess I scuttle back under my rock and work on the 50A wiring in my shed
so I bring up the E10k and we'll see if the U5 lasts in a working state
until then.

My thanks to all;

 - JP
