Win7 is actually fairly reasonably usable once I've managed to beat it
into submission. (Two tips: VirtuaWin, ShellFolderFix.) What I've
seen of Win8 looks ... awful beyond my ability to express in words. It
looks like the ultimate dumbing-down of the GUI metaphor.
I still do all my real work on Linux. Windows is strictly GameOS. I
consider it neither secure enough, stable enough, nor powerful enough to
rely on for anything else.
