On Mac Break Weekly this week (hey, shut up!) the hosts were discussing
this very question. They allowed that 2GB was a LOT of data to use up,
though Andy Ihnatko said that he'd hit it once by watching a ton of
movies on his iPhone in a given month. (Another guy, Alex Lindsay,
probably uses up a gigabtye an hour or something, but he's such a corner
case that I ignore a lot of what he says as statistically irrelevant.)

Ihnatko -- who is a very sharp guy -- also observed that it would be
good for an iPhone user to have a lot of headroom once Apple's
recently-announced plans for cloud services come online (given the
two-year lifespan of any new contract), but that's not relevant to you.

- Will (who has a feature phone and wishes he could get a smartphone and
go geocaching with it)
