I think I'm gonna go with a Windows Server appliance, or Linux - can't
decide... My little Asus box is a single core Atom design, but it has a ton of
USB & one eSATA port. I liked the idea of a box that provided background
backups of laptops in my house, but that WHS box didn't cut it...

I need to run the hardware under a known-good OS to isolate the problem...
