[geeks] Browser Error: The page isn't redirecting properly

For the last week, I have the following redirection error FireFox when I try
to reach "www.yahoo.com" or "m.www.yahoo.com". This error (different
wording) also occurs with Safari. This only happening on my Mac with Snow
Leopard. SL is fully patched. I do not have issues with news.yahoo.com or
mail.yahoo.com (or any other web site.) I have cleaned the cache and cookie
(multiple times) in each browser and have rebooted (multiple times). I have
changed the Verizon and Comcast DNS servers to the OpenDNS server with no
change.

FireFox has no restriction on cookies. 3rd party cookies are removed when
FireFox is closed. Cache, history, etc. are automatically deleted at
FireFox's close. "Better Privacy" was installed months ago and deletes LSO
cookies automatically.

The only change to my Mac that I am aware of is the addition of Virtual Box
using Windows XP Pro as a client OS. Using FireFox in WinXPP in Virtual Box
will display www.yahoo.com correctly.

Our Windows XP machine does not have these problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

"The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this
address in a way that will never complete."

TIA!
