No, it's been pretty prominent in the reports I've seen (but to be  
fair, most of my sources could be considered pro-Israel).

My understanding is that the IDF wanted to try and avoid using lethal  
force.

My favorite 'proof' the IDF are wrong is that all the deaths were  
blockade runners, no IDF forces were killed... Personally, I think it  
speaks to the IDF soldiers training and skill.
