Hello all,

On a lark I took a look at Geeks.com, and they have a fair number of
refurb (and new) rackmount x86 servers, most with free shipping.

The lowest price-point is the HP DL145 G2 (dual Opteron 246, 4 Gig
RAM, 80 Gig SATA HD, dual Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet ports) - $109
w/free shipping.

Their "nicest server (IMHO) is the HP DL380 G3 (dual 3.06 GHz Xeon, 4
Gig RAM, 6x 72 Gig 15K SCSI drives) - $279 w/free shipping.

They also have some "new" Supermicro server chassis with either a
Celeron 450 CPU ($209) or E2160 CPU ($269) - they are "New Old Stock",
both with free shipping.

These "new" supermicro 1U servers include rack hardware but max out at
4 Gig of RAM. :^(

The "ballsiest" server is a $219 DL145 with dual 2.8 GHz Opterons and
8 gigs of RAM and one 36 Gig 15K SCSI drive.
