Yes...

...but don't forget the tandoori oven, where tandoori dishes get their  
name... :)

It's like stone oven pizza or bread... you can make the same thing in  
a normal oven, but it does not taste the same.

I don't know if a stone oven would be the same or not.

There are places that sell stone slabs to put in an oven, but I have  
no idea if that trick does anything useful or not.  Sounds like a  
gimmick, but maybe it does have some effect.
