[geeks] I Hate IE 8

Sridhar,

This specific software application appears to be a very early version,
(1.0.0.1), and according to Wikipedia[0] this is a software tool
provided by many vendors - is an upgrade to a version that doesn't
conflict with IE8 just out of the question (I understand you are
talking about 10K machines, but if you can roll out IE8 to 10K boxes,
you should be able to rollout a new DLA tool and remove the current
application)?

I understand the warning box can make the rollout a non-starter - I
work in an environment with about 1,500 desktops, and I have heard
many horror stories where seemingly minor annoyances can kill many
initiatives - my users act like children, because they actually ARE
children (school system).
