[geeks] Tyan and FreeBSD

For those keeping track:

I got my hands on some known-good 3.5" floppies and DOS boot images
today (http://www.bootdisk.com) and successfully flashed the BIOS on the
Tyan i7320R to S5350-v1.08, the latest BIOS for that board. It still
will not boot FreeBSD 7.1R amd64 (with or without ACPI), and still fails
at exactly the same point, a hang forever at "attempting to load root
image from mfsroot". I have verified once again that the CD is a
faithful duplicate of the ISO. The fact that it'll run OpenBSD 4.4
amd64 perfectly happily should be sufficient proof that the CPUs are
indeed 64-bit, so it *should* be happily booting 7.1R-amd64.

Is this something I should report to the FreeBSD folks, and if so,
what's the preferred procedure?
