Yes, a web search found it refered to in several places, and a fix that
worked for one person does not work for me. Meanwhile, KDE, FVWM, TWM,
etc work perfectly fine. Xterm works on the others, but not under gnome
and so on. It's not just the terminal, it's all applictions. :-(
