[geeks] HP ProCurve 1400-8G

Has anyone used this switch before? My dad's Linksys ("Cisco") switch  
has started fucking up just a few months after he bought it, and we're  
looking at alternatives. I don't have much to recommend, since I'm not  
comfortable with pretty much any of the SOHO-style network gear.

Anyone have experience (good or bad) with that HP, or positive  
experience with other similar class network gear that they can share?
