What? They are better equiped than many small-town theaters...

These are people that are spending significant coin on commercial- 
grade equipment at home. These are not commodity applications by any  
stretch of the imagination...

I simply pointed out a good deal on a mainstream HTPC chassis, and  
your initial (published, anyway) reaction was "what, no rack ears?"  
Then, when I point out there are other chassis better suited to you  
imagined use, you (essentially) attack my characterzation of a chassis  
I can get at a local big-box retailer...

I know high-end equipment exists, I've even seen rackmount cases with  
integral TFT screens, but that isn't what I was talking about.

I wish it took more than two internal HDs, but it doesn't. I wish it  
accepted MBs larger than mATX, but it doesn't. I wish it included a  
VFD, but it doesn't. I'd also like a redundant PS, but that isn't an  
option - for this case.
