Mobotix is my employer. I am working on the firmware for this cameas.
Our cameras are weatherproof. (There is one at antarctica...) There is
motion sensing triggered recording as well as other events and actions.
Recording on internal SD/CF card or on external file serever via CIFS or
NFS. You can attach a GSM modem or use ISDN. But most of the time it is
connected using Ethernet (PoE). Everything is done via webinterface.
So it will work with any computer that supports a graphical web
browser. (No InternetExploder only crap.) Image resolution up to 2048 x 1536. VoIP / SIP video telephony is supported.
A M22 Sec-R8 or D22 Sec seems to be a perfect fit for your application.
Only disadvantage: Expensive (starting at $648).
