I'd recommend looking up the sound chipset used by the motherboard (since
this sounds like on-board sound) and then going to the website of the
company that makes the sound chipset (such as Realtek) and then
downloading their complete driver package which in almost all cases
includes a number of utilities including one for testing and configuring
speaker setups.
