Doesn't sound very concealed to me. "Reserve not met" is pretty clear.
All it's concealing is exactly what the minimum is, and it's being
upfront about that concealment.
I have to go with the "what's the problem?" crowd here. It doesn't
work just like a traditional physical store with items bearing price
tags, true, but that doesn't make it fraudulent, or illegal, or even
bad. (I happen to think ebay *is* bad in various respects. But this
isn't one of them.)
