Yeah, I'm rapidly coming to hate the thing myself and regret the $100 I
spent on it.  Had I known it would be such an utter and total pain in
the ass, I'd have spent an extra $50 and bought a used Thinkpad T20 off
eBay.

That does explain a lot though.

Maybe I'll just eBay the damn thing.
