Ahhh, SLIRP. I used that a lot about 15 years ago when real IP access to
The Net from at home was very, very expensive. We dailed into our AIX
shell accounts at uni-kl, started SLIRP... with OS/2 on our PeeCees...

To have (nearly free) IP connectivity at home was a privilege at that
time.
