[geeks] Mac file sharing

My wife and I may be moving to France for a year, and a couple that lives in
France may be coming to our house to live during that time.

They are Mac users, and, to save me the trouble of disassembling and storing
my network infrastructure, and to save the the trouble of building one, I
was thinking about leaving my stuff in place and making it available to
them.

To put some Macs on my network, what sort of adaptation should I be looking
into?  Specifically, what sort of file-sharing and printing arrangements
will they want?  Is there anything else I should be looking out for?
