Yes.

I get to negotiation phase 1, and it goes part way through that, and then no 
further.  It gets hung up on one of the last parts before going to phase 2.

To try and see if the WRT54G and/or my dual-LAN setup was the problem, I 
connected the Snapgear directly to the WAN, and had the exact same problem.

To me that eliminates my dual-LAN setup or the WRT54G as the problem.  What do 
you guys think?

If the Snapgear cannot start the VPN when connected directly to the WAN, that 
would seem to indicate that my network configuration isn't the issue.
