The F-15 is hydraulic, stick-in-the-floor if I remember right.  Same for
the F-14 I believe.  Both were designed in the 60s and early 70s.

Interesting fact: an F-15 serving with Israel lost its right wing in a
training accident.  It was able to land without incident due to the high lift
generated by the tail and the engine intake.  When it landed, they discovered
it had only a 2 foot stub left.
