[geeks] Debian 4.0 Bittorrent for DVD

Hello all,

I'm downloading Debian 4.0 (brand new stable release) DVD images, that weigh in at 4.4, 4.4, and 4.3 GB/disc, and I am wondering What the hell is on those DVD!

Granted, one may be source files, but really, that's over 13 Gigs of "stuff" - has it gotten that bad?

They listed 26 install CDs, IIRC... (I did a double take to make sure they weren't talking about floppies ;^)

WTF?

Also, using bittorrent I'm getting 15K/sec download rates for each of the three - will it really take THREE DAYS TO DOWNLOAD DEBIAN!?!?!?!?!?
