I've had good luck getting low-cost "home" wireless hardware at www.justdeals.com - lots of Netgear hardware, some Proxim/Orinoco hardware, including APs and cards.

They seem to specialize in refurbished hardware, but I've had no problems to-date... Of course, YMMV.
