Go for one of those wireless gaming adapters.  You can buy 3 or 4 for
the cost of a WAP that may not even work as a bridge with your
neighbor's AP.

I've found Wireless bridges to be very finicky; cross-vendor
compatibility doesn't exist, and older stuff won't necessarily work with
newer stuff.

I would go with either a 1605/1605R, 2514, or a 2611. The 16xx and 25xx
routers are very old, very slow - but still more than fast enough for
anything you're likely to throw at it - and very cheap.

The 2611 is quite a bit faster but costs more.

Those are all dual ethernet models.
