" senate are exempt from most regulations...
i'm sure in the wake of the scandal they closed -that- loophole, but
they probably made sure - as usual - that the corrective legislation
had -other- loopholes in it.
i generally regard plato as full of it, but this is one thing he got
right - lawmakers should not be able to exempt themselves from the
laws they pass.
