The company was swallowed up by Clarion, but many of the same people are 
still around, and work in the same factory on Chambers St. in 
Binghamton, NY.

Sort of.  They decided to make cheapo stuff for a long time, and then 
tanked the company, underwent a management change and reemerged as 
higher-end again, but I doubt that they have many of the same people.
