I was watching the news today, and in one story they showed workers at
Compaq assembling PC systems.

In one of the shots, there were several workers that appeared to be
testing motherboards, and they were all sitting at Sun SS5 workstations.
The screens were color, and they seemed to be running mostly terminal
windows and some color terminal software.

Anyone know what they might have been running? I assume it was some
kind of industrial control software.

The story was current events, but I have no idea how old the footage
was, and it was too quick to look for anything that would date it.
However, it did look like some of the cases were the current line of
Presario systems I see in places like CompUSA.

Anyway, I thought that was an interesting thing to see.
