Anybody know how to do a Solaris-style "/net" automount with AutoFS 3.x under Linux (RedHat, specifically)? I know 4.x will do it, but upgrading to 4.x will require kernel recompiles which I'd like to avoid. E.g., I'd like to be able to 'cd /net/otherhost' without otherhost being speficially named in a map. Bill -- bill bradford houston, texas
