Your original post contained zero facts as far as I am concerned ...
you had no bibliographic sources to back up your statements. This post
has some... but your original did not. What I attempted to do was
merely get one link to support each supposition.. You make the
supposition that because Southern Democrats still identify their racist
asses as democrats that we are all that way or the modern party
platform contains these goals... its the same exact thing people were
doing by pointing to Republicans as nazis based on the actions and
views of a few. I took personal offense to the stylings of your
posting. It was an attack rather than a "they are all that way
posting"... you simply stooped to that level.
Oh and while we're stooping FUCK YOU Patrick.
Carly my ass.

Shut up asshole I am very aware of how law works and how bills become
law. The point is the major champions of the bill were democrats.
Just because there were moderate democrats (most often in the racist
Southern camp as holdovers) against it including Mr. Gore doesn't mean
all democrats are against civil rights and all republicans are for nor
does it mean most republicans are touchy feely and want to help and we
(as meaning myself and other democrats by registration) are rat
bastards. You wanted emotion sir you have it. These kinds of things
don't cover up the stench of Oren Hatch, Strom Thurmond, or Trent Lott.
Sure there are assholes on both party sides of the fence... you can't
pretend the republican party is an official champion of the downtrodden
with that inflamatory one sided bullet point list.

Yes I gave it a google... excuse me for not posting the links... I
didn't think they proved the case one way or the other.
